Hello Dr., We have only learned of APS recently and highly suspect that our 24 year old son has type 4. He has been a type 1 Diabetic for 20 years, and was diagnosed with Celiac Disease last year. Besides these conditions he also is of very small stature, had an undeveloped testicle at birth and had severe asthma. I could go on.. In short we feel he has of the symptoms found in individuals with APS. Since APS is so rare we do not know where or who we should contact to confirm our suspicions. Our son knows nothing at this point about APS and we are wondering if we can be tested to determine the liklihood of him having APS. We live in OH and he has seen many specialists over the course of his life none of whom have ever mentioned this syndrome. Any advice would be appreciated.
